as posted by the channelFor the first time Egon Zehnder - one of the world's top executive recruitment firms - has conducted what it calls a Leaders and Daughters Survey - an examination of the lives and careers of 7,000 women across seven countries, to understand what's driving - and hindering - their career.
One of its findings is that globally 74% of women aspire to reach executive leadership ranks - but that percentage differs massively across the world - with ambition far higher in developing economies.
Whereas in the U.S. it's 62%, Germany 58% - and the UK is bottom of the pile with just 56%.
In Brazil 92% of women say they have that aspiration, in China it's 88% and in India 82%.
Sky's Ian King asked Egon Zehnder's UK boss, Miranda Pode, why she thought that UK figure is so low.
