A recycling breakthrough - that could stop tens of thousands of tonnes of waste ending up in landfill sites and our oceans.- is being largely overlooked.

The material used to make food and drink pouches and toothpaste tubes, known as plastic aluminium laminate, is not currently recycled by councils in the UK. But a company in Cambridgeshire has found a way to reuse it.
