4:50Now PlayingLabour MP Stephen Kinnock tells Sky's Ian King he is optimistic about Tata Steel's signing of a memorandum of understanding with German industrial group Thyssenkrupp. The move is considered a first step towards a merger of the two companies which could result in thousands of job losses. Kinnock, who is MP for Aberavon where Tata's steel works in Port Talbot employees around 4,000 people, says it is already "as lean as it can be" and hopes there will be no redundancies as a result of the merger.
