We buy a lot of games, but we also produce them. There are more than 2,000 firms in the industry here. The sector employs around 34,000 people - many of which are highly skilled jobs and about 12,000 of those are actual developers. Ian Livingstone is leading a campaign for a British Games Institute, which would be the first of its kind in the world.
