These are noble sentiments, and it is absolutely true that these games have brought some much-needed breathing space, but what they have not altered is the fundamental reality on this divided peninsula.

Kim Jong Un has not renounced his pursuit of nuclear weapons, indeed he is parading intercontinental ballistic missiles down the streets of Pyongyang and Donald Trump continues to insist that the United States will never accept a nuclear armed North Korea.
