It's to tackle the recent rise in fatal shootings and stabbings in the capital.
There have been more than 50 murders in London already this year and many of the victims have been teenagers.
Sky's Dermot Murnaghan asks Cressida Dick why London currently has a higher murder rate than New York and what is being done to tackle the violence.
