Labour say they will continue to talk with opposition parties and MPs over a possible no confidence vote.

The shadow business secretary Rebecca Long-Bailey told Sky News: "If we didn't win the vote of no confidence then it would be completely pointless.

"We do it at the right time."

The official opposition tabling of a no confidence motion would be supported by the SNP, Liberal Democrats and Plaid Cyrmu as a result of Theresa May delaying the vote.
