Doan Thi Huong is the final suspect on trial over the alleged assassination of Kim Jong Nam after reportedly using the VX nerve agent to kill him in February 2017.
If found guilty, the 30-year-old would have likely faced the death penalty.
Instead, Ms Huong has been sentenced to three years and four months in jail after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.
