3:57Now PlayingOxford University professors have told Sky News the evidence against the pregnancy drug Primodos suggests a significant link between it and birth deformities.
The drug was removed from the UK market in 1977, after concerns were raised but not proven.
Medical and Healthcare Products Regulation Agency (MHRA) concluded that a causal association could not be found between hormone pregnancy tests and birth defects in a inquiry.
Sky News saw a draft version of the report had been changed before publication after it's documentary - Primodos: The Secret Scandal.
The manufacturer of Primodos, Schering now owned by Bayer, has always denied that there is a link between the drug and malformations.
