Sky's Rhiannon Mills says it's still unclear where the baby will be born, following speculation that Meghan might have a home birth.
A statement from Kensington Palace said: "The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family."
The name of the baby, which is seventh in line to the throne, will be announced at a later date.
