She was training for the London marathon before finding out was suffering from severe inflammation to her colon.
Determined to not let the bag limit her, she entered and won Miss Beauty United Kingdom 2019 competing against 39 other women.
She and her daughter appeared on Sky News to inspire more women to enter.
