Aidan O'Neill QC, acting on behalf of the Scottish Nationalist MP Joanna Cherry, said the Prime Minister's decision to suspend parliament for five weeks was carried out in 'bad faith'.
Earlier the Government's representative said that the decision fell squarely within the political arena and there was no law relevant to this case.
