The figures have been released by NHS England, showing 224 of the deaths were in London, 142 in the Midlands and 101 in the east of England.
Public Health Wales says a further 19 people with COVID-19 have died in the country as Northern Ireland's Public Health Agency reports three new deaths.
The Department of Health and Social Care will release an official UK figure later today. There is normally a slight difference due to the way deaths are counted by the different health authorities.
