as posted by the channelAnother 823 coronavirus patients have died in hospital in the UK, taking the total to 17,337.
There were 18,206 tests carried out in the 24 hours up to 9am on Tuesday 21 April - far short of the 100,000 a day the government has promised by the end of April.
A further 778 COVID-19 deaths were reported in England, 70 in Scotland and 25 in Wales.
The totals in each country are now:
England - 15,607
Scotland - 985
Wales - 609
Northern Ireland - 194
