Since the murder of George Floyd, a fierce debate has taken place in the US over the teaching of American history - in particular their history involving race and slavery.

Now a number of Republican states are looking to ban ways of talking about race and racism in classrooms that they say discriminate against white students.

Sky News has been working with our colleagues at NBC News on the battle in the American classroom - their correspondent, Antonia Hylton has this special report.
