Initial findings from research carried out by the National Association of Head Teachers, shared exclusively with Sky News, reveals that 87% of heads said the government's COVID recovery funding was not enough to meet the needs of pupils.
In a sign of growing discontent between headteachers and the government, unions have described the current level of support on offer as "completely inadequate".
