It comes after the Prime Minister tweeted a letter to him detailing proposals in how to prevent people crossing the Channel illegally from France to England.
Meanwhile, the French Interior Minister has told Priti Patel "she was no longer welcome" at a European meeting on migrant issues following the publication of the letter.
