13:35Now PlayingKit Malthouse, Minister for Crime and Policing has said that the Northern Ireland Protocol's Article 16 "is there for a reason," after being asked about the deal possibly being scrapped.
Article 16 is a safeguarding clause which can be triggered by either side if the protocol lead to serious "economic, societal or environmental difficulties."
