The Whyte Review, which examined more than 400 complaints, uncovered an "unacceptable culture" in British Gymnastics which has left countless young people "humiliated."

The report revealed coaches publicly shamed young girls - and in some instances had them hanging on the rings in the gyms for prolonged periods of time for being late.

Another young athlete was forced to balance on a beam for two hours as punishment.
