as posted by the channelThe family of Archie Battersbee have been denied permission to take their case to the UN by the Court of Appeal after upholding a decision by the High Court to withdraw life support treatment for the 12-year-old.
Archie has relied on mechanical ventilation since being admitted to hospital on 7 April, after being found with a ligature around his neck at home.
Barts Health NHS Trust want to withdraw treatment and were last week granted permission to, following best interest proceedings in the High Court.
