A review into the vetting of prospective police officers was commissioned after the murder of Sarah Everard by Wayne Couzens, a serving Met Police officer.
It found that some staff had criminal records, some were alleged to have committed serious crimes, some had substantial undischarged debt, and some had relatives linked to organised crime.
