as posted by the channelSky News has been told that some officials in Qatar wanted to use the World Cup to raise awareness of discrimination faced by Muslim people.
Designs have been obtained by Sky News for armbands that featured the words “No place for Islamophobia” and featuring a Palestinian headscarf pattern.
FIFA said it would not allow the armbands - they also stopped teams wearing the OneLove bands.
