1:31:21Now PlayingAll five former officers appearing in court over the violent arrest and death of Tyre Nichols have pleaded not guilty to all the charges against them.
Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Desmond Mills Jr, Emmitt Martin III and Justin Smith appeared sombre as they stood in front of the judge.
They are now due back in court on 1 May.
Video footage captured by police bodycams and CCTV cameras showed Mr Nichols, a black man, being beaten by officers following a traffic stop. He died from his injuries.
