The Royal College of Nursing is meeting with the Health Secretary today to discuss pay for workers in England.
As a result, the strike action set to take place next week has been called off.
But Dr Emma Runswick, deputy chair of the British Medical Association, told Sky News, she thinks this is just the government trying to avoid more walkouts rather than actually settle the pay dispute.
