He is the first person under 18 to be sentenced for murder on television in England and Wales following a successful legal challenge by the media.
At the time of his death, Jermaine Cools was 14 years old and Walker aged 16.
Earlier this year, Walker, pleaded guilty to Jermaine’s murder and possessing a knife.
