This comes as the UK's domestic farming industry has come under huge pressure, due to a huge increase in the prices of materials needed to produce food on top of already slim profit margins.
Cabinet ministers met representatives from the industry to see how to "increase investment, innovation, and sustainability and support the long-term resilience at every stage of the food system".
