James Heappey, the Armed Forces minister, was asked by Sophy Ridge's The Take about the UK's stance on providing fighter jets to Ukraine.

Mr Heappey explained that: "The conclusion Ukrainians have come to is that they would very much like to operate F-16, and there are a number of nations that operate F-16 who have indicated a willingness in principle to provide them."
