3:01Now PlayingBritain is braced for scorching weather this weekend with heat health alerts issued for large parts of the country.
An amber heat health alert is in place in the East Midlands, West Midlands, east of England, the south east and the south west from Friday until Monday.
The UK Security Agency said: "The decision to move to an amber alert has been made due to latest Met Office forecasts, which indicate there is a high likelihood that forecasted temperatures will be reached rapidly over the weekend in these regions, while we are also likely to see high overnight temperatures."
