Today Emma Crosby discusses a report that the government is drawing up contingency plans for the collapse of Thames Water.

It comes as there's growing doubts about the ability of Britain’s biggest water company to service its £14bn debt-pile.

Sky News has learnt that ministers are holding discussions about the possibility of placing Thames Water into a special administration regime, that would effectively take the company into temporary public ownership.

Plus, the latest about the potential interest rate rise following a warning from the President of the European Central Bank.
