7:57Now PlayingShadow minister for industry and decarbonisation Sarah Jones blasted the government's rollback of net zero targets and warned of missed economic opportunities.
She said: "It shows the government has no industrial plan whatsoever and shows that they are happy to see decline in an industry that should be thriving."
Her comments come as Rishi Sunak recently announced a raft of changes to the UK's climate pledges, including delaying the ban on the sale of new internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles by five years to 2035.
