as posted by the channel

Former prime minister Liz Truss has addressed the "Rally for Growth" at a Tory conference a year after her government's mini-budget of unfunded tax cuts caused sovereign bonds volatility and pension funds to verge on the brink of collapse.

Ms Truss stressed how she believes business productivity and not more public spending will get the country on track for higher economic growth.

Among many topics addressed, she called directly on the chancellor to reduce business taxes in the upcoming autumn statement.
