6:31Now PlayingProfessor Ghassan Abu-Sittah, plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Shifa Hospital in Gaza, has told Sky News he will stay in the region "as long as it takes - until there is a ceasefire or until there is a humanitarian corridor" and "once you're in, you're in".
Dr Abu-Sittah said the hospital he works at is "already beyond capacity" and warned the Palestinian health system has until the end of the week before it collapses, as supplies are low and electricity is running out.
