The injured - many of them children - are being treated on the floor in unsanitary conditions, with the hospital out of beds and out of space.
Israel says it is expanding its operations after a truce deal with Hamas ended last week.
Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry says more than 15,800 people have been killed in Israel's retaliatory campaign, including about 6,000 children.
