Today the airline, the biggest in Central Asia and the Caucasus, reported record passenger numbers of 8.1million for 2023 - up 10% on 2022, but pre-tax profits fell by 14%, to $87.1million, due to the 2022 results being flattered by thousands of Russians leaving the country via Kazakhstan following Moscow's attack on Ukraine
