as posted by the channelKwajo Tweneboa, an affordable housing campaigner, says he believes Housing Secretary Michael Gove will be "disappointed" that his ambition to end the leasehold system appears to have been gutted.
A leasehold is where someone pays a figure on a level with the sale price of a property, but actually just rents the property from a landlord for a period of 99 years or such and they can be left liable to paying extra charges.
Mr Tweneboa says there needs to be more support for leaseholders.
He added: "There has to be intervention, there has to be reform and there has to be more support for leaseholders out there."
