The UK's former ambassador to Libya and Jordan has told Sky News he believes Israel's plan for civilians in Rafah to be evacuated to a safe area is a "fantasy".

Speaking to Gareth Barlow of Sky's Breakfast show, Peter Millett said: "The whole of Gaza has been obliterated, there are no safe spaces anymore."

Israel's defence minister has said the order to attack the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, will be given "very soon".
