Rail services on some of London’s busiest commuter routes have been brought to a standstill as drivers launched a fresh wave of strikes in a near two-year long pay dispute.

Aslef General Secretary Mick Whelan told Sky News drivers now find themselves in a situation where they've gone "half a decade without a pay increase".
