The debilitating condition can lead to inflammation and chronic pain for sufferers.
Sanchia Alasia, the national spokesperson for Endometriosis UK, told Sky News the waiting lists were a "big issue" with almost 600,000 people waiting for gynaecology treatment. Read more on this story
