3:40Now PlayingBritain and Germany are set to sign a landmark defence pact, known as the Trinity House Agreement, that will involve German warplanes operating out of a base in the UK.
It will also allow a German defence company to open a factory in Britain that will make artillery gun barrels using UK steel. But Sky's defence and security analyst Professor Michael Clarke says "it will take a while to get production going".
As Russia continues to wage war in Ukraine, Professor Clarke says the agreement "won't help Ukraine when they really need it, which is now" and that "have to do a great deal more" to help.
