YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe Labour MP introducing assisted dying legislation Kim Leadbeater says she has no doubts about the bill and tells Sky's Trevor Phillips "I wouldn't have put the bill forward if I did".
When asked about fellow party members concerns of a "slippery slope", Ms Leadbeater rejects these arguments saying "the title of the bill is very, very clear", adding "it cannot include anybody other than people who are terminally ill".
She calls for a "robust" debate on a "hugely important subject", but asks for people to be "respectful" and "compassionate" throughout that debate.
