YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

Home Office minister Dame Angela Eagle told Kay Burley why the government has suspended Syrian asylum claims in the wake of the Assad regime collapsing.

Dame Angela said the acceptance rate before was high, as people were fleeing the "brutal" government.

But now that it is unclear who will replace them, she says all claims from the region must be paused.
