Energy Secretary Ed Miliband says the government's mission to cut the proportion of the country's energy coming from fossil fuels from 75% to 5% by 2030 is "absolutely doable".

Mr Miliband said the move would see energy bills cut by £300 a year.

But the move would not mean bills would increase in the short-term as critics have claimed, Mr Miliband said.
