In the week when farmers returned to the streets of the capital to protest over the changes to inheritance tax, Sky News analysis has found the sector is also facing a double whammy from rising food imports from abroad and one of the worst wheat harvests in decades.

Imports of beef and dairy from Australia and New Zealand have also grown sharply since post Brexit trade deals were agreed.
