Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer defended a decision not to compensate those affected - saying doing so would "burden" the taxpayer.
Talking to Sky's Ali Fortescue, Labour MP Brian Leishman says his reaction to the announcement is a "combination of being shocked, stunned and angry and in no short measure, disappointed".
