2:09Now PlayingAfter two weeks in office, South Korean parliament has voted to impeach acting president Han Duck-soo.
The opposition brought the impeachment proceedings after he refused to immediately fill three places on the country's constitutional court, where his predecessor Yoon Suk Yeol was himself impeached for attempting to impose martial law in early December.
Mr Han's finance minister Choi Sang-mok will take over as acting president and says "it's now the time to put our best efforts into protecting the national security and the South Korean people".
