5:48Now PlayingChief executive of The Survivors' Trust, Fay Maxted says she has "sympathy" with those seeking another public inquiry into child sexual exploitation, one that focuses more specifically on grooming gangs.
However, she says the findings of previous investigations have been "similar" and another one "would take time".
She added: "It would take years before it reported back - I want to see action now."
Ms Maxted also said commentary by the likes of Elon Musk is a "distraction" and any "politicisation" of the issue should be avoided.
