as posted by the channelPrince Harry has agreed a surprise out-of-court settlement with the publisher of The Sun newspaper over claims its publications breached his privacy and engaged in unlawful information gathering.
The long-awaited case was due to begin, but the Duke of Sussex's lawyer said Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers had agreed to issue an apology and pay him "substantial damages".
Harry and former Labour deputy leader Lord Tom Watson brought legal action against News Group Newspapers over allegations of unlawful information gathering by journalists and private investigators between 1996 and 2011.
