6:18Now PlayingThe economic secretary to the Treasury, Emma Reynolds, has insisted the government "stands by our climate commitments" in the wake of speculation the chancellor could back a third runway at Heathrow.
Asked if the government can actually achieve climate and growth goals together, Ms Reynolds insisted the UK stands by its net-zero commitments.
She said: "We stand by our climate commitments."
"Aviation, sustainable aviation fuels, the technology for those fuels has developed significantly in recent years."
"But absolutely, we stand by our number one mission to drive economic growth, but we also stand by our climate commitments."
