as posted by the channelShadow home secretary Chris Philp has accused the government of not doing enough to crack down on small boat crossings.
Mr Philp said crossings had gone up by 28% under Labour - he blamed the scrapping of the Tories' plan to deport anyone who arrived via small boat to Rwanda.
The government said today it had deported 19,000 migrants who did not have a right to be in the UK since coming to power.
