Doctors at Gemelli Hospital in Rome report that the Pope is no longer in critical condition.
He was admitted on February 14 with bronchitis, later diagnosed with double pneumonia and a polymicrobial infection.
However, they emphasise that due to his age and limited mobility, his condition remains complex.
